Not better, not worse. Your parental skills won't be defined by your sexuality. There will be so much else to look at to decide what parents sounds better than others.

Why necessarily? It's not the same as the kid not having any male role models around them per se. There could be other male individuals around them that can fill that part out, granddads, uncles, older cousins, maybe even the semen donor. Again, it's not about the parents sexuality, it's about their parental skills and what they can do for their kid. What is it worth having a dad around that beats you up all the time, just to mention an example of very bad parental skills?
