Why are so many people depressed and suicidal these days?

...... if some one lies to you so much causing you depression and grief... Take "THEM" out!

Some people actually have hard lives. It’s hard for them to be happy. Some people make their life worse than it actually is, they dwell on small things and make themselves unhappy. I have a feeling that some people like to be that way, miserable and depressed.

@GlitterBug it's TRUE for so many..they like to be miserable and depressed.suicide should not be a better alternative.

@EpluribusUnum Perhaps what they need is to be allowed happiness ON THEIR OWN TERMS instead of having to be hated for being different. North Americans hate me universally because I am visibly crippled and was never part of a family (dictionaries aside, I do not understand what family is or why it is so important). Perhaps if it wasn't so hard to find even one person who still had the ability to love anyone besides themselves?

@Anonymartyr I really dont think you're hated for the way you look and you shouldnt believe that. It's probably that inability to know what you go through in life and dont know how to react.

No point in talking with someone who doesn't want to listen. It is the new human nature to hate what is different and it is impossible for me to be otherwise.
