I didn't know this was going on there too. And the word is "protest" or "riot". I'd say what you have going on is getting close to a riot, but still a protest. A protest is when people scream and shout in groups to show how unhappy they are. Riots are when there is wide spread physical attacks and damage going on. If the window breaking isn't too wide spread then it could still be called a protest. I'm learning French currently and one of my teacher told me how the French don't classify these kinds of things the same way as we do in the states. "Manifestation" is more often used with things like ghosts and spirits.

😔 most protest seem to contradict what they are protesting at some point. Mostly because they often get hijacked by people who just want an excuse to go crazy and do bad things.

it is pretty stupid. Violence for self defense isn't stupid per say, but the violence that creates the need for self-defense is stupid.
