Now bomb scare in Auckland Train Station. WTF is happening?

@Vivaci My partner's family is from there. Thankfully, they are all safe.

@Vivaci It's true! it's the peaceful place that us australians go to when we want to leave a peaceful place and go to an even more peaceful place. This is very upsetting :(

@Vivaci Although to be fair a lot of countries didn't want to be involved in the WW but were invaded.
Agreed though, it's shocking. 😟

@Vivaci Yeah the thing is that it really only takes one or two crazy people out of millions to upset things. I have no idea why they picked on new zealand though. It's like the place to visit when you want to feel safe from everything.

@Vivaci As if Christchurch didn't have enough already, now this. 2011 earth quake devastated the place and some part of the city is still in rubble. It struck again in 2016, but no major damage to life, but property only. The pacific ring of fire passes through the middle of the country, so there's no escape.

@SW-User Exactly!! That was the most terrifying thing...I remember one of my E P friends was stuck in that earthquake in 2016. They had no power for 2 days and we were so scared when we didn't hear from him....he was fine...but they had no wifi connection.

@SW-User They're purposely targeting safe and peaceful places, as people and police are much relaxed in these tourist spots. They get a good base to multiply...I was shocked to hear a couple of years back that there is a huge terrorist organization in Norway and Sweden!!! 😦
