Does the internet give a relatively safe outlet for all the society's fanatics n crazies of all political, social, religious, gender, etc stripes?

The internet allows people to express the most deluded opinions in safety and anonymity. Its the President who brings them out into the light and encourages them to act out.

Taking it a step further...how about the "good" folks in the world who use the internet?
