What are your thoughts?

Here’s a story for you. My son had a kid in 7th grade keep touching him. I called the school because my son was pissed as was I because it was inappropriate. One day that’s kid touched his ass in the bathroom and my son knocked him out. He got suspended for two days and had to go to a bully class. I called the school and told them he wouldn’t be in school all week or Be going to the class and next time the kid touched my son I would knock the kid out. My kids had our complete support to defend themselves. Kids today need to grow up and deal with the crap they start.

I totally agree with your thoughts about having your son stand up for himself. @Keepitsimple

I think things are getting out of control and kids aren’t able to learn from common sense or experience.@rjc36

My child will defend themselves if someone puts their hands on them first.

I highly doubt society is offended. @MarmeeMarch
@BrattyMel They are - 🙁

Good for them. I’ll keep doing what I’m doing 🤷🏼‍♀️@MarmeeMarch

Someone touches my child, they have my full permission to whip the shit out of them. My kids arent permitted to look for or start trouble, but if it comes to them they are to stand up for themselves.

I am living proof of that .I was bullied till the day I gave the biggest bully in school a dam good kicking was never picked on again .

I agree with you. For years children handles these things themself. I believe it helped people deal with situations in life much better. Not being protected and shielded from the things that really happen in life. We may wish that everything in life is fair and balanced but that is not reality. There will always be people who want more or will degrade others. It's just how some people are.

I agree! Very well said!!@rjc36

Sorry but the only way to stop a bully is to give them a taste of their own medicine .

I used to get bullied by this guy in middle school and after a couple years I had had it so one day when he popped off to me I said alright that’s it you n me in the back room we’re gonna throw down. He looked shocked but said ok lol. I won and he never bothered me again after that because I earned respect

I can agree with both statements. Got my shit rocked couple times sticking up for someone getting a raw deal. You never regret those moments. Or I haven't anyhow.

But "Someone hits you, you hit them back" is not a great ethos.

So where are the adults, teachers... staff in all this? Are they just refereeing ?
JustDifferent · 22-25, F
@Spokeskitties75 They don't do anything. I'm still in school.
Spokeskitties75 · 46-50, M
My tax dollars hard at work I see @JustDifferent
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
And if I don’t agree , are you gonna bully and shame me?
JustDifferent · 22-25, F
@Deadcutie have I ever? I would ask your reasoning and probably respond with some of my own.
Deadcutie · 18-21, F
@JustDifferent not you specifically
