Why does school start so early

It should be year round. American education is not doing well.

Me either! I hated getting up early for school then, and nowadays if I'm in college, I positively AVOID morning classes. I am not human in the mornings, LOL!! (I rather resemble a zombie!)

To keep children out of trouble.
