@Elegy I think what most of these bands (all of them?) have in common is they were influenced by velvet underground - one band that definitely only became popular after they disbanded.

@VSonMe I have their "banana" album, and I enjoy it immensely, especially "Black Angle's Death Song". Way ahead of its time.

I think "Venus in furs" is my favorite on the album
