Depends on whether I’m interested or not but I always prefer in person if possible or speaking on the phone.

Depends on the conversation. If it's someone I know well it's easier to talk and keep it going.

I’m more introverted in person, and good with words, so although I can hold a conversation face-to-face, I sometimes find it as easy or easier to converse via messages (thereby keeping the conversation going).
However, I like the non-verbal connections (facial expressions, pauses) we make when talking to another person....so I choose to talk face-to-face (or even on the phone) rather than via text or PM much of the time.

Sometimes. I had a 3 hour conversation the other night for example.

Conversation is much better in person. I used to find it a bit nerve wrecking, but now I just share, listen and it tends to flow.

Having a conversation with someone who shares the same energy/chemistry is especially nice.

If I’m talking to someone who’s confident then I’ll be confident too and the conversation will be good. If the other person isn’t so confident then it’s harder for the conversation to progress.
