Do you ever give yourself a pep-talk?

I gave myself one this morning at work. My coworker was getting on my nerves.

One offered me pizza; I declined. She told me " you do realize that once you have kids, you WILL be fat". I told her "maybe, all of my family members are fat". She told me 'well enjoy it while you can'. (she's fat).

I told myself I look good (5'3, 135lbs). I asked myself if I want to look like them. Myself said no😄

p.s. I do eat pizza, however I have a slight wheat intolerance. I do not want to eat bread products at work for obvious reasons. Stomach issues, etc... my 'no' should be enough. I shouldn't have to endure people's comments because I eat what I eat.

Some people need to get involve in other people's lives to avoid looking at themselves. I look fantastic even at my age and I had a child. So you aren't automatically fat.

@curiosi That's great. I know, I just agreed because it seems to be the norm.

You declined. You don’t owe an explanation.

You should've smacked her with the pizza box.
