Have you ever used the silent treatment on anyone?

And/or just ignored a person or people? If so, for how long? Or how long do you typically wait to end it? And what are your reasons for doing it... both why you start and what you hope to accomplish? Is it usually effective? Conversely, has anyone ever done this to you and what happened? Do you feel people should do this more? Less? Doesn't matter?

In a few simple words my mother is a terrible human being MD since she refuses to acknowledge that, then I will not acknowledge her existence.

Its been a couple of month since I even looked at her.

@ItsGonnaBeOk What makes her a terrible human being and how would she acknowledge that? Also, MD = ?

@matttheman13 people make mistakes no one is perfect but she completely refuse to accept that like the concept of being wrong does not exist in her mind.
She acts like she is perfection and everyone has to follow her footsteps.
And every time she mess up "and mess up real bad" she blames someone else, she comes up with fake stories and conspiracies and talks about people dealing with witchcraft just to cover up her dumb mistakes.

She says a lot things like "i saw it and you weren't there, you don't remember but your uncle did this and that" all her stories are full of betrayals and tragedies and everything sounds exaggerated.

Of course we believe everything when we were young but later we started to find actual prove that she exaggerating or her stories are completely fake.
It wasn't much of problem but she starts heated fights and arguments with dad and neighbors and relatives, all our family connections died out because of her.

We spoke to her about it many times but Mrs pure perfection doesn't listen.
