Do progressives WANT an instance of racism to exist so they can feel justified in virtue signalling?

I find democrats to be better on economic policies than republican and definitely better on Global Warming. But progressives and are different. Jazmine Barnes, covington high school kids and now jussie smollett...? Progressives just want to find racism so they can push their narrative of who the enemy is, so they make shit up. That is a huge reason why democrats will loose more elections

Our own Republican president threw us into a national emergency without actual justification

@Mistakesmakeus Try going to the border and saying that.
@Sicarium so you actually think the national emergency is justifiable?
Sicarium · 46-50, M
Do you know what a national emergency means? @Sicarium
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Mistakesmakeus Yes.

Do you have anything besides condescension to add?
@Sicarium he threw us into a national emergency just because he wants money for the wall faster
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Mistakesmakeus I believe that is false, he wants the problem solved faster and he's trying to fulfill a campaign promise. Democrats just want to prevent either.
@Sicarium he literally just said ON LIVE TELEVISION that he only wants to do it so he could get the money faster
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Mistakesmakeus Get the money faster to fix the problem. That doesn't actually refute what I said.
@Sicarium listen here, the only justifiable reason to declare a national emergency is that there is no other option to get the money for the wall than just the national emergency. Which means that he had no other option but to do it. It would've been fine if he said "ok folks I had no other choice but to do this" but instead he said that it was optional and that he didn't NEED to it's just that he wants the money faster to fix a stupid problem. Oh and by the way the wall doesn't help anything, they built the wall in El paso? Great it actually didn't do anything. Oh and also there is literally no evidence stating that immigration is rising here, in fact it's been falling for the past decade so a wall wouldn't help anything but Billy Bob up in Idaho feel like he's being protected
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Mistakesmakeus Out of context quotes don't have any sway with me. They're great for your bubble buddies, not so much for convincing people.

The wall in El Paso did work. Which is why Beto was so mocked when he suggested tearing it down. Please have some idea what you're talking about if you're going to start a comment with, "listen here..."

The funny thing is I know exactly where you're getting that nonsense, and they conveniently left out human trafficking and illegals crossings in their crime numbers. Narrative over truth it seems.
@Sicarium overall the border wall actually didn't do anything. The reason why there was an outcry is because the people watched some sort of news channel or got some info from anywhere that isn't from the official government (FBI is fake news) and used that as a reason to justify trump
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@Mistakesmakeus Yes, it did. Excluding illegal crossing and human trafficking from your numbers to push a narrative doesn't make those crimes suddenly disappear.
@Sicarium illegal crossing can cover a broad spectrum. Keep in mind that overstaying your Visa counts as an illegal crossing right? Oh and look. If trump said that this wall is necessary don't you think he would've took measures to accomplish this? Like.. I don't know.. trying to get the money back when the Republicans ran the show? The Senate? The house? Complete and total control? And he decided that after he was losing so much, after losing the Mexico deal to pay for the wall, and after he lost control of everything, as well as the Russian scandal growing larger, that he wanted a last desperate push to actually complete one of his campaign promises? He had TWO years and now decides to act that this is an absolute emergency?

And? El Paso is a border city. We're not talking about visa overstays here. Not sure why you're trying to deflect.
trying to get the money back when the Republicans ran the show? The Senate? The house?
He did. That's why he was negotiating over DACA as early as 2017.
Complete and total control?
False. Republicans didn't have a 60 seat majority in the Senate. Democrats could, and did, block plenty.
And he decided that after he was losing so much, after losing the Mexico deal to pay for the wall, and after he lost control of everything
What?
as well as the Russian scandal growing larger
I'm sorry, but if you want me to take you seriously, don't rely on discredited conspiracy theories. Even the NYT admitted there was zero evidence of collusion.
actually complete one of his campaign promises?
He's fulfilled campaign promises at a higher rate than any other modern President. Even CNN was lamenting this a few months ago. You either have a short memory or you're being less than honest.
He had TWO years and now decides to act that this is an absolute emergency?
Two years of not being able to fix a problem doesn't make that problem magically go away. You leftist keep using this talking point without realizing you're actually bolstering Trump's argument. If Dems had been willing to negotiate, we wouldn't be here. You just want obstruction.

That's a lot of misinformation in one comment. Congrats, I guess.

And drop the condescension shit, act like an adult.
