Do progressives WANT an instance of racism to exist so they can feel justified in virtue signalling?

I find democrats to be better on economic policies than republican and definitely better on Global Warming. But progressives and are different. Jazmine Barnes, covington high school kids and now jussie smollett...? Progressives just want to find racism so they can push their narrative of who the enemy is, so they make shit up. That is a huge reason why democrats will loose more elections

Progressives need the racism and bigotry to justify their authoritarian policies. And progressives need people to be afraid and angry to vote them into power. They need you to believe there's a nazi in every closet and a white supremacist under every bed. Hate crime hoaxes further that narrative. And since the ends justify the means and the means are seen as ultimately morally superior, lying is fine. It's in pursuit of a "larger truth".

Add in outrage culture as a way to move up the progressive stack, and you end up with progressives competing with each other to be the most outraged. That's how you go from activists calling the Covington kids racist bigots to celebrities calling for school shootings and bombings. And it's all morally acceptable. Noble even. In their minds, they're morally superior for calling for violence.

This is how we ended up with so much collectivist mass murder in the 20th century. History repeats itself.

Seriously? Sounds more like science fiction.

@Sicarium Pre-fucking-cisely!

One minor correction, though: progressives need chaos to justify their existence. 😊

@IstillmissEP Totally!

@SimplyTracie There was that and more. Verified users on Twitter in Hollywood and media calling for the parents to be murdered, the kids to be dismembered, one cat called of the mothers to be raped. And these were verified users, not random people.

It turned into a competition you could watch in real time.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sicarium Progressives are people who call for parents of the Covington kids to be murdered, the kids to be dismembered, and the mothers to be raped? 🙄 Those people are extremist. They exist in all walks of life.

Do you seriously believe that all progressives fit into that mold? Seriously?
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@SimplyTracie Seriously? Did I say all? You're twisting my words to discredit what I said. You want to make this about me instead of the absolutely horrible behavior I'm talking about.

All the people pulling this crap were progressives. They felt it was acceptable because of their ideology. Other progressives have defended this type of behavior, both with Covington and other cases. And if people like you didn't give them cover with #notall arguments/deflections, maybe this crap wouldn't go so far.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sicarium Cover? You don’t know me. They are extremists and I don’t think such remarks are worthy of a confutation.

I don’t go after these Nazi extremists either. It’s not worth my time or energy.
Sicarium · 46-50, M
@SimplyTracie Yes, cover.

I may not know you, but I know your MO. Everytime you pop up, you always play the same game. You try to challenge whatever I'm saying by twisting my words and then setting up a false moral equilvency, then declaring yourself above the extremist fray. It's getting old. Deal with people's arguments honestly. You'll get further.

As for the nazi extremists, see my first comment here.
SimplyTracie · 26-30, F
@Sicarium Okay. I will try and remember to stay out of your threads from here on out.

@SimplyTracie If you can't be honest and argue in good faith, that'll work too.

@AgapeLove Wish I could believe that, but it happens every single time. It gets old arguing over something you didn't say, or this or that word that was taken out of context to begin with. It's like she wants to pick apart the minutia, even false minutia, to avoid the real issue. It's just not worth the effort anymore.

@Sicarium @AgapeLove My comments are usually in a form of a question. I do this purposefully as not to seem like I’m attacking an opinion. I do have my own opinions but I mostly like to get clarification.

What I never do is criticize a person for their opinions whether I agree with them or not.

😊
