Gone girl! Why cant I shake it off?

Every time I read the book or watch the film get that same chilling feeling. I'm riddled with fear. What a f***ing calculating bitch!

Damn that felt good to say!

@Spoiledbrat ohhhh...I read mostly it's hubby that puts these things on and if it catches my attention I watch it..lol
OH. Yes, I read it too. @Primnproper
What’s better? The movie or the book?

@HijabaDabbaDoo I prefer the film only because the book haunts me for a couple of nights.
But if you can handle that type of thing g its worth reading...
I like psychological thrillers but this has by far kept me engaged and conflicted/stressed angry and sympathetic the whole way through. Its been brilliantly articulated and just so easy to get into.
@Peppa I love psychological thrillers too. Your review makes me even more curious. I think I should definitely give it a shot.

@seeandhear heart rate is starting to settle down, temperature too. Teeth are no longer clenched...
I might actually be able to get a decent nights sleep 😊
Brilliantly written, impressive portrayal. (I don't usually like affleck)

@Spoiledbrat almost seems justified in the end. The adpudience grew to know her but loved the drama they created. Theres something about a real life relationship breakdown especially when its played out on TV, its relatable coz they could be your neighbour but when you hear and see the nitty gritty you realise just how alright you are in comparison. (That catching people at their worst sort of thing and off guard, very appealing in a facade day and age)
I never could understand why she went back to him. @Peppa
