What has the world taught you so far?

That there's a lot of truth in cliches.
There's always somebody looking to screw you over.
People are rarely who they say/think they are !
There's never enough time; energy; money etc.
There's no such thing as.....
A job for life.
A partner for life.
A free lunch.
A happy ending ?
People will always let you down at the moment you need them to come through for you.
People in general are just bloody unreliable !

I have to work a lot harder than I thought to get what I want, and I'm not mentally prepared for that.

People have a hard time telling the truth.
