Street corner beggars

@NCCindy They like to approach older women such as me when I am alone...which says to me that they think I’m a soft touch. One young woman had a baby on her hip one fine spring day in a Walmart parking lot. She told me her husband kicked her & their baby out on the highway and she needed money for a motel room for the night. I didn’t buy it. Three years later she got busted scamming a woman on Facebook. She told the lady she was abandoned by her husband and was raising 4 children by herself and needed help. This lady was filling the back of her SUV up with groceries, diapers, toilet paper, and other needed items and taking them to her home twice a month. Then one day the lady did a reverse search on the Facebook photo and discovered the mother had another Facebook page with a different name & background. She called the police and they put charges on her for fraud. The photo was put in the newspaper and I recognized her as the one in the parking lot asking for money.
