I don't like the idea of that. I also don't like to think the kid wouldn't be smart enough to avoid trouble from that because I kept her naive in an attempt to protect, though. 😕 I guess I would let her, but I'd have to monitor it.

Even if I had kids esp a daughter - she's getting a basic cell phone that makes calls only ----thats right, she'll hate me.

My 12yo has one. It is monitored. All her friends have insta, it would set her apart socially if i didn't let her.
