Why does my cousin's boyfriend act awkward around me?

I greet my cousin and hug her and try to talk to him, but he seems awkward, he can talk to everyone else.

If it’s coz you hug her then he should get over it. It doesn’t matter what happens between then you will always be her cousin. Hopefully he’s not the jealous type, that always means trouble.
