That you judge me for being Christian for believing in someone that you might not believe in but he believes in you!!!! Are you scared of a life change ? @Gr8Guy1979 and that's okay. Just realize that religion has been misused and distorted to make people distrust it and rightfully so. The Council of Nicea is a great place for you to explore to see how manipulated things were. Same holds true today.
I totally know what you mean religion and relationship is totally a dif thing I see I’m not religious just because i say I’m Christian does not mean I’m perfect but i need his perfection to survive !!!!his mercy !!! And yes religion wants you under their control due to it’s like a business money!!!! Right? @Gr8Guy1979 nope you are. You cant truly love another without loving yourself. That's why I quoted what Jesus said. Love your neighbor as yourself. Meaning love yourself as much as you love your neighbor.
I think if I do that that’s selfish I love my self yes I do only because I’ve survived suicide and actually was brought back to life yes and a atheist but my life turned around anyhow that’s when I realize people are hurting like I once was so I’ll rather be next to them even tho if they hate me I quote this for you what Jesus said since you seem like a scholar Jesus “ they will hate you because you come in my name they hated me so they will hate you”””” that’s one is free for you my friend @Peaceful
@Gr8Guy1979 but Jesus saith the 2 most important commandments is one of shared already. And the second was to love God with all your mind, heart and soul. If we are made in His image, that means loving you.
