@Faerylight: that doesn't work either...thinking of my ex, my sister, and a couple of people I've worked with...there are some people who aren't willing to grow as a couple or compromise change anything about themselves even if it's a matter of personal hygiene or other bad habits.

Ha ha ha I admit Cherokeepatti my ex is an example of that - he took my kindness and rung me dry with his addiction to victim hood. I thought maybe I'd got it wrong and someone less gullible and tougher would actually suit him... But after dating 'normal' woman (ones not trained to be a doormat) his exacts words were "I will not compromise."

Unsurprisingly he is still alone

But sadly...so am I :-D

@Faerylight: My ex had a girlfriend for nearly 2 years, my daughter told me how nice of a woman she was, after she broke up with him she got counseling...I'm glad she got out of the relationship and didn't have children with him. He ruins anything good that he has.
