Do you think life on SW would be better if we managed to migrate 4chan to over here?

It wouldn't be as shocking as most suppose. 4chan these days is basically social media-tier garbage where you trade the opportunities for reputation and meaningful interaction for near-total freedom of discussion (in practice, this is irritatingly curtailed by the short lifespan of threads and the character limit imposed on posts, among other things) and sometimes rare and obscure information you likely wouldn't have come across elsewhere (about 1 in every 100,000 posts or so, maybe).

The main differences would be demographic, with lots more posters in the 18–21 range and below, and female users becoming a vanishingly small percentage of the overall population here (assuming the 4chan registrants were honest about their sex). But the prevailing culture of 4chan nowadays is just essentially a bunch of lost, miserable people trying to come together in groupthink over random bullshit in a misguided effort to make life more bearable — not much different from here, however much the results of that may vary on the two sites in accordance with the differences between pseudonymous/anonymous communication and the vast gulf in their respective numbers of posters. The creativity, irreverence, and sense of humor which gave 4chan its reputation in the 00's disappeared years ago.
