Want some of my special secrets of baking and cooking?
Cookies- When making cookies I don't use butter, I use butter flavored Crisco. At times I might use half butter and half crisco. I don't bake them till they are brown. I take them out right before they are completely done, then let them sit on the pan for a few.
Steak sauce- If you don't like steak sauce, I have made my own dipping sauce for it. I put mostly ranch dressing in a small bowl and add drops of this and that to it. Like steak sauce, bbq sauce, honey, or a sweet dressing, whatever I have in the fridge.
Chili- I used to use six gun chili season, but don't think store carry it now. Now I use McCormick. I also throw in a package of ranch powder, the kind that's used to make dressing, but that is optional. 1 can of rotel, and the most important part is add a little sugar or brown sugar to it. Also if you don't have enough tomato sauce, you can take a can of tomato paste and add a can of v-8 for the sauce part
Lasagna- add sugar and fresh parsly to the racotta cheese
Green Bean casserole- don't put quite as much milk as the recipe calls for. And add onions and cooked bacon to it
