Isn't this annoying, but humorous at the same time?

I work at a front desk of a hotel and I have noticed people (especially older people) will get really confused, frustrated and downright dumb when it comes to filling out basic car info. On our sheet it has a line for License plate#_____ Make____ Model____..I tell them we don't need the license# just put the color of it in that spot. They sign the paper, then go to fill out car info. Most people for some reason find this part really stressful. If I see they are struggling to figure out what to write, I tell them just put the color, and what ever it is whether it's a car or Suv, or truck, just anything to identify it. They still sit there and hem and haw around about it. Some people will sit there and think and think, hovering the pen above where they're about to write. Some will not listen at all and run out to get their license anyway. Some will ask who they are with "What did the company call that color? Summer meadow mist?" I tell them to just put the basic color, blue, green, grey, whatever. Some people don't know the difference between make and model, which is understandable. But people stress theirself over this simple task. I thought I was bad at not wanting to fill out 5 pages of stuff when my daughter was in school. But it's funny because I just sit there and look at them while their little brains are going haywire over this stuff. You can actually see people start shaking and shivering over it, they get so nervous. Sometimes if they look half witted or are very old, I will fill the car info out myself and just ask them. Still somewhat stressful for some though.. lol Why is filling out car info so stressful to most people?
