Yes. The smells, sounds, and feelings there will linger with me for my entire life. Some of my earliest memories are of that place.

Now, the house is in what is considered by most to be a ghetto, and I wouldn't even go into that neighborhood only because the color of my skin would draw too much attention from the residents and the police. Pretty sad really.

@Deeperminds Occasionally. I daydream more. My memories are from when I was a child, and I wonder how it wold appear to me now 30 years later.

I've been wanting to go ask the people who live there now if I can just step in and look. You should do that too sometime. I actually did this a couple years ago with my high school friends old house, but I was actually there to get permission to hunt mushrooms, they gladly showed me around the house

@Deeperminds That's pretty cool. I wonder if I would get such a welcome reception.

It’s where I always felt the safest and most loved in the world. That made it magical to me.

Yes... And I still go there as my uncle lives in it!
It still has the same smell everything!
My grandfather had a room of all his 1916 easter rising photos... letters... And memorabilia in there and its not been touched...
Just cleaned and kept immaculate!
I just love going there!
❤️💕♥️💞💖
