Do you have a high pain tolerance?

Yes. But then I've had this spinal thing eating the cartilage in my vertebra for 31 yrs. Pain pills can only cover about half so I am totally used to pain now

I would have to say you have an incredible pain tolerance. Sorry to hear about your illness by the way.

Seriously, after so long I only feel pain is when the vertebra slip and pinch nerves. I can go days not really bothered by it. Have pain, anti-spasm, and anti depressant every six hours. They do a really good job. If it gets unbearable I can go to ER and get a shot of toridol in my butt and I don't feel a thing after that. I have a great doc that has thus far kept me off the oxy twins. I'm not supposed to have made it past 2003 when Johns Hopkins University Hospital said I wouldn't be walking anymore. So I am happy to have what I have

@boldtimer: You are the man!!!!!!!!! I am so happy you don't take oxy. You really are a roll model for others. Take care.

@spandexblue: Thanks to my good doctor. He has watched over everything places hAve wanted to do to me. He is why I am still walking and active. There are some great family docs out there.

@boldtimer: You just have to find one. I wish you the best in the years to come an may you walk until you just have no place left to walk to. You really are an inspiration.
