Are your schools closing for the bad weather? all of ours are......

We are not having bad weather. Quite nice actually. Just took the dog for a walk..... Back when I was in grade school we had an early dismissal. The buses came to take us farm kids home because the forecast said there was a very nasty blizzard coming our way. The bus dropped me off at the farm gate and I leisurely walked the 1/4 to the house coat undone soaking in the warm 'pineapple express' blowing across the Canadian prairies. We played outside all afternoon making snow tunnels in the huge drifts north of the house. After supper we went to bed to the sound of water running off the eaves from the melting snow. The next morning we played in the puddles on the way to the bus. I don't know where the blizzard went but we had a fabulous 'blizzard day'.
