Is it possible to have some civil discourse and reasonable debate here?

Is it automatic to resort to name calling and verbal abuse? Don't get me wrong I have been guilty of this myself. But for some it seems to be their modus operandi.

the problem you run into in todays "PC" society, is that many will completely reject traditional, practical ideology based on facts and logic; in favor of societal trends or "fads" based on fiction.

They are merely information, but as I mentioned, people attach their ideology to arguments, so if the facts don't fit then they TOO become offensive. The far left is terrible for reacting that way, the SJWs and virtue signallers cannot stand facts, because they prove them wrong...
