when someone tells me they are 178cm or 1.78 m tall i dunno how that looks. when i hear 5’9” i know how tall that is.

Square footage of a house. I can’t imagine what it is in square metres but i know what 2000 square feet looks like.

Fahrenheit i compare to a test out of 100. if you get 100, your are HAWT and anything above that (where i live anyway) is rare but possible. 80s still hot, still doing good. 60s is a nice cool spring day. but we are getting to “below average” range. the farther you get from 100 the worse off you are cause it gets colder. and if you get 0, forget it.

That makes no sense i mean if you say i'm 5'9 its like are you 5 feet and 9 inches tall thats not even close to the actual measurement and certainly if my feet are way bugger then yours

Well whats so hard 100 is boiling water normal human temperature is 37 0 is freezing point meaning below 0 is cold 20 is a good temperature 40 is bloody hot and anything sbove 50 is deadly

uhmmm .... a standard foot is 12 inches. it’s not literally someone’s foot. metres aren’t square either but you still have square metres. i can’t tell if your last comment is serious or not but it really has me wondering.

I’m not here to justify why numbers are the way they are. google the rationale if you wanna know that. you like metric. i like imperial. we will have to agree to disagree on their respective merits.
