I was diagnosed Bipolar 1 it’s weird I went to school graduated with honors and got my masters I’ve done motivational speaking around but for some odd reason I still feel alone and I know for a fact I’m not!!! But why is that pls mature answers I’m trying to understand this hole bipolar thing and the people that judge ous
I'm bipolar as well. It runs strongly in my family, so about half of us have some form of it. My doctor is a specialist in the area, and he said that at least half of his patients have advanced degrees. He gets a lot of people who are in med school. So it definitely isn't an intelligence thing and you can still be successful. I am curious though. If you are actually bipolar, you should have had some episodes that affected your life, or at least the other people in your life. You also seem to have been diagnosed awfully late in life. Does your sleep schedule change? Like, do you go through phases where you sleep 3-4 hours a night and then ones where you want to sleep constantly?
I did and have had bad breakdowns it also runs in my family I can’t sleep well at night at all good day maybe 3-4 hours tops and I’m taking meds finally I was diagnosed since I was a little little child no joke I remember taking meds at age of 3-4 I was walking around like a robot so my mom put me in sports so I wouldn’t have to take so many meds anyhow time past hit me hard and well now I’m here by grace and mercy so I take my meds 3 times daily @Laifu

@Laifu I didn't get correctly diagnosed until I was 35, it does happen.
Heya, there are quite a few of us on here actually. There are a lot of bipolar people with higher education and successful careers, so don't think it's a death sentence.
Doctor's only make money when they can label you with a diagnosis. You really want to put your future in the hands of someone that is using you for profit??
