whats with all the karate trolls on here?

like they are either claiming they can beat black belts because they are "flexible" or are impossibley strong. like a girl this morning said she was approached by the army at 14 because of her skills in martial arts and that she had 5 black belts by then. what is worng with them

I think I might have talked to that girl, I know it seemed fake but it sounded so cool I was drawn in anyway

I'm into martial arts and the idea of a small feminine woman that is a strong martial artist is something amazing to me

@Harunaorekko that's absolutely amazing, do you still live in Japan?

You may make fun of me, but I know nothing about real Japanese culture, anime got me interested but I know that it's not any real reflection of life in Japan

@Harunaorekko I know, I don't think that it's anything like anime shows, but as the culture that came up with such interesting ideas I want to see it some day

What arts do you have a black belt in? It's so cool to see tiny martial artists that make great use of their speed and small size

@Harunaorekko I don't really have a frame of reference for what that would be like in Japan

I know going against most black belts in karate here, I more or less don't get hit, and don't have to be serious at all (unlike those who are skilled in Muy Tai and Wing Chun and other such arts) but I have a feeling that it's a very different thing in Japan

@Harunaorekko that makes a lot of sense

Speaking logically, the karate in England is probably more effective than the karate in the US where I live

I find a good challenge sparring with US Marines, and enjoy it, but karate here is a joke relative to more serious arts

I would love to see what it's like there, honestly I don't have any real clue what it would be like
