Im tired of people that post "look at me , look at me" photos

whats the point in posting a photo just to hear "your hot/ your pretty" ? your never gonna respond to half of them, any time someone questions you, some of you just lose it and take it as an insult.

theres nothing wrong with posting photos, or trying to get compliments, but dont be thirsty about it

So many people need validation. As if the comments of complete strangers really matter to opinions on one's appearance. I think this is mostly a younger generation thing as they find this form of communication most acceptable. I also see it in women in their 30's and older. Ones who also need compliments. They post "do you think I am pretty?" or "I am ugly, aren't I?" as a way of soliciting praise. It is sad really. One should be able to look into the mirror and praise and be thankful for one's looks, one's good, kind heart, and one's life. People are so desperate and so lonely and so "thirsty" as you put it. Sign of the times. Sad sign.

@PoetryNEmotion uh........yes......im kidding i actually did read it lol. Thirsty is just a really accurate description in a sense that they are constantly craving more and more and more. but i agree, this world is too focused on either being attractive, or ugly, hell i honestly believe im ugly, as do many guys, which isnt necessarily fair
@HeWhoLaughs You are silly then. If you think you are, then that is the way you present yourself to others. How else can they look at you? The younger generations shouldn't constantly need people to say that they are worthwhile. People need to love themselves. Validate themselves. That is how they become strong. The world owes people nothing. I wish people would understand that. It is not easy, but one has to be strong and to be independent. And that includes valuing themselves.

@PoetryNEmotion it is definitely changing, but sadly todays world is very visual, take it from me, im a novice designer lol. and yeah i wish i didnt see myself as unattractive, but its a deeply psychological issue that is often burned deep in us at a younger age, and its taken years for me to start caring less about that
@HeWhoLaughs You have to know your value. Is not rocket science. Do not lay blame. Too many live their lives weakly. That is on them and no one else.
