are twin flames real?

hey im realy into eastern philosophies and i believe in reincarnation,we hav a soul that is eternal,ect,but im confused about this whole twin flames thing i came across that ones soul in order to learn and grow faster splits into two and reincarnates into different bodies then at the end of a few lifetimes come together again and merge into one?..
now is this true do estern philosophies accept this?..
iv read that shivabalayogi who is an enlightened master spoke about his pasts lives and some of them happened while the other was still alive and he said one atman(soul) many bodies...now before you think this is profe.he was an enlightened master what i am asking is this whole twin flames real with average beings?
and if it is true do the split souls even reunite at the end i mean hwta if they remain seperate forever?

Well it doesn't make a difference whether someone has the title of master or not. So its the same for everybody. Assuming they exist, it's still very rare to encounter them. He's just as much as an average being as you are.
