A true quandary:

You meet the person of your dreams. They are mentally, financially and meet all your criteria for a mate. However physically they are the worst person you ever had in bed. Do you ask them to co-sign for your student loan? You KNOW they will but are you morally ok with it?

I wouldn't but not for the reasons you've suggested.

Would you be willing to expand on your perspective?

I wouldn't because of my own desire to be independent and achieve things for myself. I also wouldn't like the thought of feeling obliged to them. Along the lines of what you said as well, if I was already having doubts about the future with them, then I wouldn't want to tie myself down in anyway.

But could you over look the physical part. I believe in honor above all things. I have a friend who is dealing with this situation. We talk frequently but she's at a great distance. I needed some perspective.

I don't know. I believe you do need to be physically attracted to your partner. And sometimes as you get to know them they can become more attractive in your eyes as you come to know who they are.
