Should I go back to my doctor?

So just to make sure I'm not being silly or anything i thought I'd find out your thoughts here.

I had some foot surgery done end of September and had some really bad infection. Took three different lots of penicillin because the first two types made me rather Ill let's say 😂. It's still not settled and not sure of the stinging around the parts of the foot where it was infected is normal?

By stinging I mean like wasp sting type of pain. Pain killers and ice and rest just aren't cutting it. I don't think I can drink a glass of whiskey every night for the pain 😂😂 oh well I suppose it helps me sleep at least xD
