@Dan193 Yes, some are done Friday, live, and the ones that take a bit more effort get done live Saturday afternoon as the fire pits are lit uptown and the popcorn makers are out popping corn. And Hot Chocolate is FREE! It s quite a draw.
I believe they cost each store that gets one 700-800 hundred dollars. Some a LOT more.

@Dan193 Rain and sun are the enemies that weekend, A few years back it trained all three daysand the statues looked terrible. And sun over 32 will melt them fast. If it was tonight they would be history as it is 53.
There is also a barbecue pit, Ribs, Pulled Pork and so on. Just bring your wallet.
There is a parade Saturday and a Octoberfest tent at night where adult beverages can be had for a price. But that is far form main street. Close where the fireworks were. Most ignore the tent though.
