I don’t know what I want out of life?

I’m 25, male.
Don’t really have much to my name.
No car, no home, no credit, no bank account, no job.

I have none of the essentials in life, I don’t really blame anyone for my downfalls, I can’t accept the fact I’m just horrible with my money and I don’t take account that I can’t hold a steady job for 3 months or so, I don’t know how I survived in life this far but I’ve been couch surfin since I was 17, now I’m at the lowest pinnacle in my life, I really do contemplate suicide more and more as I grow older.

How do I gain control of my life?
I don’t know where I went wrong in life but I’m not satisfied by my actions.
You have just started

Everything is up from here

The bible is inspirational words which have shaped a destiny of more than 2000 years.

Nuclear energy is engineered with a few symbols on a few pages

The lazy mind sees the world as complex and complicated.

The inspired mind sees the world as simple and slow

Just the way it is

I can’t maintain a decent attitude to see things clear.@questionWeaver
Now I have empathy for you.

The size of the mountain you need to climb will affect your attitude.

Start anywhere and climb

Treat your attitude like a freeloader ... give it a ride, but do not accept directions from it.

There is not one path for you, but many ... and they intersect.

They key is starting down a path

First things first, you need a job to make money and to get off the couch you're on, or at least room with someone. Once you get off the couch, you can start establishing your own life. Unless there is some other underlying problem.

I think there is another issue but I don’t know what it is.@Grasshopper25

I can see how that could make you feel down. Are there services near by that can help you find a direction for your life and assist getting started?
Dateless · 31-35, M
Yeah.. they’re actually going to cut off my resources on the first of next month, I didn’t attend the class they issued me I didn’t have the funds to make it there and I tried to call but I didn’t get an answer or a call back.

So I’m going into the new year starving @gmatthewb

@Dateless Sorry to hear that, I can see how that can make you feel hopeless.

Are you stuck or do you want to be there?
Dateless · 31-35, M
I know, I feel I’m at a lost sometimes. @hippyjoe1955

@Dateless Not unusual. However it is up to you to do better if indeed you want to do better. Hence my question.
Dateless · 31-35, M
I do want my own, I’m tired of not having my own.

Practice meditation, sounds like it's too simple. It works because it calms the mind of all that is going on around you. It is in this calmness that answers come.

At this point in my life.. I don’t think that would benefit my current situation.. I can’t stand in one spot and breathe heavily.. it won’t put food in my stomach or money in my hand @curiosi

I have a resume, I have years worth of work experience already

I don’t feel I should take advantage of a system that people need more then me, and I don’t want to be ridiculed for being on welfare @Psycho
