I dont like xmas and dont want to celebrate it but feel so much pressure from around me to attend family events and such

I ignore it. I'm not a Christian and I don't have any family. Just another day, except everything is closed.

I don't have any responsibilities for the holidays because it's just me. If I had to do things because of family pressure, what I did years ago was I planned some things for just me to do when I didn't have to be at the family events. It helped me feel a bit less pressured because I would have other things to look forward to.

Yes, my wife and I have nothing decorated at our home and spending a few hours with family is a pain in the ass because of very bad feelings in the past.

Yeah, it's impossible to get out of stuff though. It's not that I dont like Christmas... just not up for everything this year.

No I'm lucky surrounded by my family and I love Christmas.
