Those animals are quite stealth, I doubt they'd accept a meal from a human. We have them here, a pair of them were spotted less than 3 miles from my house in a rural neighborhood and it was on a Thanksgiving morning...people sighted them on their neighbor's front porch, one was laying on the porch and the other had jumped up on the porch swing and was laying on it. This was a couple years after a hunter said that they were scouting for deer before deer season and found some huge mountain lion tracks down on the river. Yikes! Lions!!!

If you're in a wooded area and hear what sounds like a woman screaming especially at night, it very well could be a mountain lion. They like to do that.
