why can't I upload photos

I have a mobile phone and recently I haven't been able to send or upload pictures. Why have they changed the format to upload your picture's. Thanks

When you get into the album section, do you select the photo's entry before
pressing the upload or submit button?

I'm still having no luck. I'm pressing the picture square it comes up with the album bit and when I press upload picture nothing happens.
