Don;t worry over it. Buy him what you want to buy him. It only gets weird after you tell him how many kids your going to have and start making wedding plans without anyone asking.

@SkeetSkeet Makes perfect sense! You did say he is buying you jewellery, so there must be a certain level of cozy comfort he has with you. You should be fine.
