@dunpender That doesn't take the debate very much further does it? Gender is much more of a spectrum than that.

@dunpender Of course, it's your right to identify as a fish with all the rights of a fish but you won't gain all the abilities of a fish.
Likewise, it's a person's right to identify as another sex with all the rights of members of that sex (although they ought to be the same rights) but they won't gain the abilities of members of that sex.

@lightshinesthroughdarkness It's not that simple. Some people are intersex, neither male nor female. Asexual simply means not having a sex.

@lightshinesthroughdarkness Not everyone is born male or female. It's up to the individual as to their gender preference. The debate is already passed the point that you're at now.
