What is the rudest/oddest thing you have experienced while being at a friend's house?

I went over to my roommate's parents' house for a dinner. They were wealthy people. They had a bedroom for a pet chicken that they let down around the house. The stupid thing pecked my ankle too, I felt like kicking it. I was a good guest and did not.
