Is it easier to confess/admit things to yourself or be in flat denial of something?

Montanaman · M
🤔 conversation with self.
Yeah, I know I've had them.
I and sometimes, I look into the mirror, and I see the real me staring back. It can be a rude Awakening.
But at the end of the day, I get things sorted out.
You?

@Montanaman I find my burden off my shoulder when I admit them to myself rather than catching a lie on my own which make things worst if it makes sense.

@Montanaman Thanks.

It is easier to admit things to yourself right away. If you don't it just accrues interest and becomes worse later. At least that is what I have experienced.

Easier to admit...
I am quite honest that way.

It's easier to be honest....eventually, if not immediately. It's far easier to retell the truth than to try remembering a lie.
I’m pretty honest, provided I know there’s actually a problem.

It's easier to tell myself the truth and be in denial with other's

Most of the times I was able to confess.

Denial is the easiest thing to do.

@Dan193 I wonder if it is? I have struggled with denial because I knew the truth was just a lie away, and the fear Of slipping up and getting caught was overwhelming.
