Yes I've had that. I looked it up and it said it was caused by poor hygiene. But like you, I don't believe that's it. How about talc powder to help with the heat and moisture?

It can't be hygiene, as ive felt it while having a shower, plus I take care of cleanliness anyway, so no idea what it is

@BurgerKingHaveItYourWay: for me it was just hot weather and sweating. I worked in a hotel at the time and it was hot and we worked long hours. It was totally just a moisture issue,.

BK, it cannot hurt to ask a chemist. A thought that comes to mind is your intestines are stretched from the pushing. It is FREE to seek a chemist/pharmacist. It is free to ask them. They may have something over the counter. (without a prescription)
I itch here as well. I do have chronic Diarrhea(Chromes Disease)Certain foods will make it worse. You might seek a cream. Just ensure it contains no scent or alcohol that will burn/sting. If I knew more symptoms I might be able to help. A chemist has an OATH the same as do doctors. If you have rectal bleeding it may be from the scratching. A cream may help. Seek a lotion that contains no alcohol.

I recommend Aloe Vera for just about any skin ailment. If you know of an aloe plant growing anywhere then just break off a leaf. Squeeze the juice out of the leaf and apply it. Failing that try to buy the purest form of Aloe Vera that you can and use that. I pretty much guarantee that it stops itchiness within minutes. I've never used it on my butt but it should be fine.

I'm in S.Florida and grow the aloe to give away. It's also good for hair. When my aloe is RIPE I open my blog on free-cycle groups and give away these plants. Mine are home grown. They are shorter than those sold in stores.
Aloe has an extra reason to keep on hand. Lets say you fertilized an area too much. The Aloe cleans the ground. Aloe is okay to swallow, or to use as an ointment. Better known to keep in a kitchen for burns. Wonders for Sunburn.

i was there when I once shaved and stopped using aftershave cream. could be that or just go see a doctor. doctors never speak about their patients' problems

I know, but I'd still feel pretty stupid
If it's been going on for a while, you really need a doc to help you out.

Change of diet?

Use the aveno creams..
Carla1951 · 70-79, F
naaa I'd stay natural. Get a starter plant from Home Depot. Just be sure to water your Aloe plant well. They will continue to grow. Aveno contains a scent which means it contains alcohol and will burn like fire.
