Why is holding a baby weird feeling to me?

I'm always scared that if I drop them, it would be something beyond repair. So I'm feeling uneasy when somebody offers me to hold their baby.

It takes getting used to and my fear was I would drop the child.(ps congratulations on your new arrival.)
