English is a confusing language...

For example:
Your [b]nose runs[/b] but your [b]feet smell[/b]
You [b]park[/b] in a [b]driveway[/b] but you [b]drive[/b] on a [b]parkway[/b]

Spelling is weird at times too.

H-O-M-E spells home and is pronounced like it's spelled. But then, if you're fixing your hair do you use a C-O-M-E? No. The has an "uh" sound. You use a C-O-M-B.
