Because it’s natural and if it grew in the first place so why get rid of it? And a bald crotch looks so weird on a grown man, at least keep some hair. For women I guess it’s a bit different due to certain beauty standards but I still think that some hair never hurt anybody.

I’m okay with them as long as they are trimmed and kempt. I don’t prefer to shave them off entirely.
