Why do parents and teachers have each others backs when kids misbehave?

Parents seldom back teachers these days. Their littke darlings couldnt possibly have done the things we tell them they do!

I never did. I always had my son's back...when he misbehaved 😂

Actually... that's not always true. My teacher caught me smoking, so I met another teacher and asked him if he could talk to her to not tell my parents, yet she did it either way. This of course upset me, AND that upset my parents as well. In the end, me trying out smoking wasn't as important as her desire for getting me in trouble, and my parents saw right through it.
