Is race a biological category or a social construct?

Obviously skin color can be inherited biologically, but the reason behind race being a social construct is that all of our skin is the SAME :o

It has the capacity to change based on radiation input that forces the body to defend itself with the release of melanin. This is why you can tan. A white person can literally turn brown from hanging out in the sun. So the idea then becomes, what IS race if our skin cells are like LCD pixels? 🤔
It can CHANGE races?

@SW-User this is the reason we have so many nuts
There are characteristics of one race to another that can't be changed by the amount of time you spend in the sun ,,,you can change skin color lighter or darker even genitalia ,but you can't really change who you are ,,a blood test and a swap of the mouth reveals it all ,,,
if there was ever a good example Michael Jackson ,,was he man or woman
black or white ,,,we knew the answer ,,Michael was the only one confused

@rckt148 that is true :v
And as time progresses, people flourish with an abundance of new traits and mutations. It is part if life, dude. However, skin color is what we use for race, and that can CHANGE. The idea becomes a matter of what else can we use to determine race .-.

It sure as heck would give a variety of different races, then

@SW-User No Dude that is not the only way we determine race
I take it you have never seen a Chinamen and a Vietnamese and a Filipino or Mexican up close ,,
Lack of experience you only see skin color ,,,contrary to some beliefs
Not all white people and people of color look alike
And African can have as many color blends as Americans ,,but there are culture differences
Some people see me and know right off the bat I am Indian ,and what tripe
But 99% of the people only see a white guy ,,I am Sioux ,Cherokee ,German mixed ,,,but people who see more than the color of my skin can see ,,,
I am more Indian than white
