I am so tired of seeing the words "conservative", "republican", "democrat" and "liberal" these days.

As well as words related to those. People are seemingly only using them as insults these days, instead of simple words to signify people's political views. The left hates the right, the right hates the left, and very few people seem to consider the other side.

Like, relax. Politics is a spectrum. Stop calling people nazis for being somewhere on the right side of the spectrum and libtards for being somewhere on the left. You definitely have SOME political views in common. You're all adults. Stop acting like 13-year-olds who just discovered 4chan.

That's a pretty good suggestion. I think that people end up either hearing insults so much that they stop caring about civility without receiving it in kind, or they watch television and see the incivility of journalists, anchors, politicians, or angry mobs, and they just assume that since people they see on the boob tube are acting that way, they might as well too because there seems to be no stock in acting normal.
